First a few things about Disco Royale that separates us from the other Disco services:

Customer Focused: Ensuring that the event is tailored to the exact requirements of the customer. Working together ensuring we both achieve the same goal.

Attention To Detail: We take great pride in the overall presentation of the event, ensuring that any special requests are followed to your complete satisfaction.

Punctual: We are never late, satellite navigation ensures we locate the venue. This is all linked to the AA Road Watch with a live update on any possible travel problems. We also check weather and the latest road information to ensure reliability. We also always visit the venue beforehand to ensure we have the all the details of access, area for setting up etc.

Commitment: From the very beginning we are 110% committed to your function. All bookings are confirmed by email and/or telephone. Written confirmation is also offered if requested. We are always on hand prior to the event to run through any ideas, or special request that you may have.

Success: With a hunger for building, expanding and developing this established business, We are only too aware that "you are only as good as your last function" which is the drive and determination that means we always deliver 110%.

Our Requirements

As a professional mobile disco we are fully equipped for every eventuality.
All we ask is for:-

An Area of Ideally 4m x 3m
Two 13 amp Mains sockets within 10 metres of where the disco is to be located
A Safe Environment.


Playlists:
We welcome a playlist giving us an indication of your favourite Tunes, Artists or Bands. These help us to get an idea of what you are looking for. Ideally we would suggest a maximum of 25 tracks or artists on your list to ensure we can incorporate other requests and balance the music genre. We will of course also play reasonable and appropriate requests from your guests at the function to ensure they too can hear their favourite tunes. Don't forget you are paying for our expertise in keeping the dance floor full, so we will incorporate tracks from playlists or requests where we feel they will they work best.

Refreshments:
Don't forget the DJ and or his assistant can work very long hours. Please bear them in mind with regard to the provision of adequate food and soft drinks.

Extended Playing Time:
Wherever possible we will aim to accommodate client's requests for extensions to playing time. This will be subject to a small additional charge for each hour or part of. Event managers are usually very strict on finishing times, so this will not always be possible.

Safety:
If at any time before or during the function we deem our persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate the disco without further notice. In the event of this happening refunds are not applicable

Other Services:
If required we can also provide music* for your civil ceremonies, backing music for your wedding breakfast* or any other events you might have planned for the following day.

(BBQ after birthday disco, etc.)

Terms & Conditions for booking Disco Royale:

You are agreeing to book us to provide you with disco or/and karaoke entertainment for your function, this is to include sound & light to enhance your evening.

We agree to turn up at your venue at the time stated and setup within 1 hour unless otherwise agreed, we also expect to be allowed adequate time to break down and pack away our equipment at the end of the event, this time is not to be less than 45 minutes.

The DJ reserves the right to cease all entertainment if we feel a situation has or is about to occur which may make it unsafe for us to continue to perform. This could include drunken guests, aggressive behaviour, or the venue becoming unsafe due to acts of god, power outage, fire or damage caused to our equipment making it unsafe. You will still be responsible for the full cost of the entertainment unless otherwise agreed.

If ANY unauthorised person interferes with our equipment whilst it is unattended, the entertainment will be stopped. We understand people like to look at our equipment as it is unusual, but it is also for our work. Some of our equipment is unique and extremely difficult to replace. As well as being depended on for your entertainment. If it is damaged you will lose out as we cannot be expected to carry two of everything. Sometimes it is unavoidable to leave our equipment unattended as the DJ does need breaks for drinks, toilets or other reasons.

Any damage caused to our equipment by guests, the client or outside invaders, i.e.: gatecrashers, will be charged at full cost to the booking client. You are responsible for maintaining security at your own events.

If you are booking a children's party YOU are responsible for maintaining the safety of the children within the venue. We will do our best to watch them but ultimately you as the client are responsible, we supply only a DJ NOT a child minder.

We will on request supply prizes & presents for children's parties and are always happy to organize party games. The cost of the presents and prizes is to be arranged with us in advance. Anything we have to buy will have to be covered by the client and agreed to before we will proceed. We do not provide prizes unless we have received your instructions to do so.

We expect to be allowed access to toilets and wash facilities throughout the booking.

All payments must be paid IN FULL on arrival of the DJ or in advance. Failure to do so will result in non-commencement of the performance. Cheques should be made payable to Paul Ellwood.

You agree to notify us at least 2 weeks in advance of the booking date of any cancellation or change of venue, notifying us later than this will forfeit this agreement and you being liable for the full booking fee whether the entertainment was fulfilled or not. As it is unlikely we would be able to rebook at such short notice, this is our only reason for stating this. All payments are non refundable in any circumstances.

We are happy to accept requests. But do not be offended if we do not play it. We have over 25,000 songs but cannot be expected to have every song. Please do not be argumentative or abusive if you don't like the music the DJ is playing.
